Project Name: HarmoniaMagz
Duration: January 2017 to Present (Ongoing Maintenance)
Type: Digital Magazine Website
Role: Full-scope Web and Brand Development
HarmoniaMagz stands as one of my most sentimental projects and my very first full-scale web development journey. It began in early 2017 as a simple experiment on Wix, built entirely from scratch without templates. What started as a school-based magazine revival eventually grew into a living digital platform that continues to evolve today.
Over the years, the project transitioned from Wix to WordPress, adapting to modern web standards while preserving its original community-driven spirit. What makes this project personal is how it marked my first step into the world of digital design, experimenting, learning, and building everything by hand.
Through its growth, HarmoniaMagz became more than just a website. It turned into a brand ecosystem that covered print editions, YouTube channels, Twibbon campaigns, and social media extensions, all aimed at keeping the publication’s voice alive. Today, it remains active as a continuously maintained project that bridges design, media, and education.
Scope of Work
Web design and full-site migration (Wix to WordPress) SEO setup using YOAST Social presence setup (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Maps) Print layout design for magazine editions Content and campaign assets (Twibbon, digital posters) Ongoing content maintenance and optimization
Process and Methodology
The workflow started as pure prototyping with no predefined structure, just creative exploration. As the project matured, design and content began to align into a proper development process.
Using tools like Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator, I refined layouts and interfaces. SEO integration with YOAST helped improve search visibility, while ChatGPT supported content ideation and editorial planning. The site is hosted on cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability and scalability through years of operation.
HarmoniaMagz’s evolution reflects not only technical growth but also creative resilience, a reminder of how design, when nurtured consistently, can sustain a community’s voice long after its first launch.
